I Have Something to Say- So Do You!

Manhattan Avenue, a name that just did not escape my mind as I was thinking about what I wanted to build. I dont know why but it just made sense. I had been living in this tiny apartment room in Manhattan Avenue, New York where I felt safe. In that little corner of the world I could be me, no judgement, no voices, no one just me, being me. Manhattan Avenue felt like a place that was starting to feel like home. A feeling I wanted this platform to be, safe, warm, home. Not home to live but home to explore, have a voice, dream and become the best version of yourself you not just think you can be but one that you can be.

A year later, the publication has gone through a few iterations as I continue to uncover what that voice looks like but i sure do know how it feels but have struggled with what it looks like. A thought that has always run through my mind was that in my journey i had always been fighting to be seen, heard and understood, I often failed explaining that but i sure have always had the ability to write and create and in wondered what it would mean to have a publication that would give others an opportunity to do that too. What if there was a space that would and so I thought there has to be a section on Manhattan Avenue where our community can share their opinions of what truly matters to them. From current affairs, relationships, culture, fashion and so much more, let us hear what you have to say!

As you can imagine I have much to say and I will be sharing my thoughts on here, so buckle up I have so much to say!
