THE STORY
Manhattan Avenue was founded on the Upper West Side of New York City - on a street that gave this publication its name and its energy. From that address, and across the distance between New York and Cape Town, a magazine took shape. One built for a very specific kind of woman. Not a woman waiting for her life to begin. A woman already in it - building, travelling, leading, and doing all of it with grace. She is educated, well-travelled, and deeply intentional. She moves between cities and cultures with ease. She is local everywhere and foreign nowhere. She is who we write for. Every story, every issue, every word.
